DELAVIA is a private nutrition consultancy run by Delaram Biazar, Registered Associate Nutritionist. I take your privacy seriously and handle your information with the same care and discretion as your health.

When you write to me: your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
If you become a client: information about your diet, lifestyle, supplements, health and goals, which you share through a questionnaire and during consultations. Health information is a special category of personal data, and I only use it with your explicit consent.
When you visit this website: this site does not use cookies, analytics or tracking, and does not collect personal information through forms. Like all websites, the hosting provider may keep basic technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes.
I never sell your information, and I will not send you marketing without your permission.
I rely on your consent and my legitimate interest in replying to enquiries; on the agreement between us when you become a client; on your explicit consent for health information; and on legal and professional obligations for record keeping.
Only trusted services that help me run DELAVIA, such as email, secure document storage and video calls, each bound by data protection law. I will only share health information with your doctor or another professional with your permission, unless the law requires otherwise. Some of these services may store data outside the UK; where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.
Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation are deleted within 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as required by professional and insurance guidance, and then securely deleted.
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, restrict or object to how it is used, withdraw your consent at any time, or receive a copy to take elsewhere. Simply email hello@delavia.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Your information is kept in secure, password-protected systems, with access limited to me.
I may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
